J.A. Moss Construction Co., Inc. was incorporated in 1985 and has been a Ceco Builder since October 1995.

With a strong team of dedicated and focused employees, J.A. Moss Construction has the capabilities for design-build with specialization in distribution warehouses and churches. With an in-house AutoCAD operator and two project manager/estimators specializing in design-build, the company provides expertise in a variety of structures: pre-engineered, structural steel, wood frame, bar joist, tilt wall and block. Recently Moss completed an 110,000 square foot design-build project for the manufacturers of the well-known Bayou Classic cookers. The facility has tilt walls with a metal building system for the distribution warehouse and offices.

The management team is comprised of 10 staff members in the main office, eight superintendents in the field and a general superintendent. J.A. Moss Construction contributes much of its success to the value it places on a great team spirit and the long-term relationships with owners, architects and engineers.

J.A. Moss is on the Ceco Southern Region Builders' Advisory Council, and the company's team members are associated with the Construction Specifications Institute and the Association of General Contractors in addition to area chambers of commerce, development organizations and the Rotary Club. Annually the company awards a scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Richland High School who is planning to attend a Mississippi university.
